Culham Science Centre is one of the UK’s most prestigious research centres with a strong focus upon cutting-edge science and technology.
Covering some eighty hectares of green belt, we are situated in beautiful rural Oxfordshire, offering a pleasant working environment easily accessible through an excellent road and rail infrastructure.
The Centre is owned and operated by the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and is the home of the UK’s fusion research programme, known as the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE), and the world’s largest fusion experimental facility, JET (Joint European Torus). Culham is also the location of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority Headquarters.
In addition, Culham plays host to a wide range of resident organisations who recognise the value of having their business base at Culham. Our amenities and growing business community contribute towards a positive but relaxed campus atmosphere. We are pleased to be able to offer specific packages to small companies who are just starting out in business, through the Culham Innovation Centre.
There is something on offer for everyone at Culham, whether you are a large organisation or a small one – our community is growing with the brightest of futures...
